Mechatronics is the combination of mechanics, electrical, electronics, and sometimes computing. Mecha- for mechanical and -tronics for electronics. En common example of this kind of system would be in avionics. Another would be modern factory automation. An emerging use for such a system would be in advanced prosthetics. Oh, and of course robots. Who does not love robots. For us this is a foundation for many immersive entertainment experiences. Such experiences may utilize control theory and dynamical systems in conjunction with physically altering elements of a space to augment the human experience of immersive performances. We also work with industrial and hobby electonics here.
